Dr Kimberly Hutchings, Department of International Relations, LSE
Dr Hutchings' main research interests are in international ethical and political theory, feminist ethical and political theory and the work of Kant, Hegel, Foucault and Arendt. She is the author of 'Kant, Critique and Politics' (Routledge, 1996); 'Cosmopolitan Citizenship' (co-edited with Roland Dannreuther, Macmillan, 1999); 'International Political Theory: rethinking ethics in a global era' (Sage, 1999); and 'Hegel and Feminist Philosophy' (Polity, 2002). She is also one of the founding editors of the journal 'Contemporary Political Theory' (Palgrave/ Macmillan). Her current research is focused on two areas: feminist international ethics; and the philosophies of history underlying contemporary debates on ethical and political cosmopolitanism.
