This year's theme focuses on 'Russia and China, What are Europe’s roles in today’s globalised world as a security and economic actor towards these two actors.' Trade, security and energy security dominate the political and international interactions between China and Russia on the one hand, and Europe and North America on the other hand. There are three committee simulations; North Atlantic Council, European Council, and European Parliament Students will be given a country other then their origin to represent. Students will be expected to prepare extensively and engage in highly intellectual debate and discussion. We are seeking serious applicants who are committed to attending, participating, and representing not only themselves but Grimshaw. There will also be some opportunities for sightseeing and exploration of Brussels, but the focus of this trip is the simulations. Costs: 230 euros (168 pounds)
